10 imagesFor his directoral debut "Theeb," Naji Abu Nowar lived for a year with the last Bedouin tribe to settle in the Southern desert of Jordan. From among them he chose the actors for his film. They underwent 8 months of traning before the cameras started rolling. Jacir Eid, 11, the film's star was the only one not to have been born into the traditional nomadic lifestyle, and was born in a village. The last image in this series is of English actor Jack Fox the only professional actor in the film. These portraits were taken on location in Jordan during the filming process in 2012.
